arghhhhhhhhhhhh he FUCKING took my headphones without telling me! knnbcbb!

first of all, someone at wk managed to royally piss me off. im supposed to teach this teacher playclub songs so he can play music for his classes. i told him eng and mandarin totally diff style cos mandarin plays the melody while eng just plays the chords and accompaniment. he insists on learning my style even tho i told him it's just 3 chords. like learn the basics and flourish it as you like can??? then i had to teach him how to use the powerpoint and download clip art. he has minimal grasp of eng but insists on using it to converse it with me. and i think i have been very patient with him but i'm almost up to my neck answering his questions that come at the most inappropriate times. for eg, im teaching him how to download clip art and he goes, him-what means download me-err, it means (insert chinese translation) him-is it noun or verb? multiply that by 10000 times a day. everyday. everytime i step into the teacher's room he calls, "chewy can u come here for a minute?" i swear to god the next time he asks me noun or verb or adjective im going to wring his neck i come home after a weary day to find my bathroom drain clogged. so i pour this bottle of drain unclogger into my drain only to find out it is in powder form. and i forgot to remove my drain cover so it started to sizzle. i thought 'uh-oh my bathroom is going to explode" but then i poured 500ml of cold water into the drain as per the instructions on the bottle and the sizzling stopped. so i went out to ask pris if that is what happens and she said yea. so i read some more instructions on the bottle and it said to pour 1/2 the bottle into the drain which i did. only to realise that i forgot to remove the cover YET AGAIN. so it started sizzling more. i panicked. and poured lots and lots of water. which caused the drain to regurgitate its contents, blue bubbly water and all. together with a strong waft of ammonia. so now my bathroom smells of ammonia. i go into my room and find out i missed 2 calls from phil. i call back while turning on my computer and accidentally deleting sthg in the process because i cant multitask. so i panicked some more and screamed at phil in the process and we ended the conversation with me slamming the phone down. now we're not talking. and i know im in the wrong but i absolutely refuse to call and apologise. because im still too heated up. (i know im a tyrant) the instructions on the bottle says to check the drain half an hour later which i did. and i STILL get a clogged drain. add that to a pissed bf, a pissed and ammonia-smelling me, and oh yes to top it off, guess what? i finished typing this entry. and i ac.ci.den.ta.lly deleted the WHOLE FUCKING thing yes, you are reading the 2nd draft because i refuse to let bloody LJ get me down. so even if you do not let me post all my pictures, i can still write abt my sucky days, so there! unless of course, this post doesnt get thru. -sobs

Here's how it works: 1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc) 2. Put it on shuffle. 3. Press play. 4. For every question, type the song that's playing. 5. When you go to a new question, press the next button. 6. Don't lie TIME-SUCKER ALERT: DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU HAVE WORK TO DO Opening Credits Meaning of Love -- Take That (Everything Changes) like worse... Waking Up My Greatest Fear -- The Tiny (Starring; Someone Like You) What a morbid song to wake up to. Sounds like the beginnings of a horror flick.First Day at School One Plus One is One -- Badly Drawn Boy (One Plus One is One) Haha! How apt. But what are they teaching in school!Falling in Love Veronique --Pink Martini (Sympathique) Cool. Macham in some posh restaurant. I like the piano.Fight Song Televators -- The Mars Volta (De-Loused in the Comatorium) Reminds me of some kinda western perhaps. In the hot desert with heat rising from the ground. But must be one hell of a slow fight. Things only pick up after about 2 mins.Breaking Up Moonlight Serenade -- Lisa Ono (Best of Lisa Ono 1997-2001) Did the OST mix up the Falling in Love song with this track? Maybe im breaking up in the same posh restaurant that i fell in love in. Prom La Isla Bonita -- Madonna (Madonna Greatest Hits) OMG! 80s Retro night! Life's OK Burning the Candles -- Dirty Vegas (Dirty Vegas) Fwah! The lyrics quite meaningful. "Count your blessings/ Count the times/ you forgot their names/ committed the crimes/ All the people you've had/ Oh it's time to make amends..."Mental Breakdown Girl on the Wing -- The Shins (Oh, Inverted World) Huh, this i dont get.Driving Yeat's Grave -- Cranberries (no need to argue) wind down the windows and yodel along!Flashback Hollaback Girl -- Gwen Stefani (Love, Angel, Music, Baby) one kind of aggro flashback. Getting Back Together Moving On --Good Charlotte (Young and the Hopeless) yessss. moooving along.Wedding Everythings Worse -- Giant Drag (Hearts and Unicorns) Depressing. The song starts off with "I can't decide/ if your words are unoriginal or uninspired.." how did i get conned into this?Birth of Child Brother -- Stereophonics (Language Sex Violence Other) It's a boy!Final Battle In My Car (I'll be the driver) -- Shania Twain (Up!) weird. im guessing we're battling over whos to drive?Death Scene Flat Top --Goo Goo dolls (A Boy Named Goo) i was hoping for something more emo actuallyFuneral Song Serious -- Gwen Stefani (Love Angel Music Baby) Ya. i Guess this IS Serious.End Credits Tom's Diner -- Suzanne Vega Cool. It's like a summary of my blah life. Mon, Jan. 1st, 2007, 11:42 pm

after much consideration, i decided to take my other packet of brussel sprouts out of the fridge to give it a second try. it was only because i didn't have anything else to eat at home for dinner and i didn't want to order expensive delivery. so here's my christmas day dinner: thebeipinglady said to first cut the sprouts into half so they'll soften faster. so that's what i did. then stir it up with oyster sauce and dip it into some mustard. not too bad actually. but mooose was right. brussel sprouts are by definition inedible. and since there were some left over rice in the fridge, i added some onions, egg and taiwan sausages. voila! dinner for the night. and i actually managed to cook both at the same time! haha what a drastic improvement. *beams*

just caught swan lake last night by the russian ballet. the first performance that i caught in shanghai! i was quite surprised to see the theatre more than half filled. mostly locals too. when the lights went down, the ushers actually carried a luminous green sign that said "No photographing". These ushers walk up n down the stairs, flashing the sign in the faces of pple who try to take shots during the performance. Pretty damn amusing, but annoying after awhile cos they can be such a distraction. i dun tink i've ever watched a proper ballet ballet. if i have i can't rem, or they must be SDT performances. found it amusing that every time the ballerinas tried to walk off stage gracefully, their pointe shoes do them injustice with a 'plonk, plonk, plonk' as they trudge backstage. i love the tableaux with all the swans!!! everytime they do their turns in their pretty little white tutus, i imagine myself turningalong with them. and after watching them for awhile, i remembered how to do my turns too! i miss turns class! i miss my classes with yin!!! i remember practising my turns with yin at the esplanade underpass, then at AS7. all the dizzyfying turns, the spotting, the step-kick-step-kicks. mabbe i shld try looking out for jazz classes here. hmm. and yoga. and oh, have decided to up my climbing frequency to twice a week. i just spoke to my mom on skype for the first time since i got my internet connection and the first thing she said to me was, 'wah ur face so round!' with my 3 equally annoying sisters sniggering in the background. dammit. mothers... *mutter* but i digress. i was pretty darned impressed by the lead dancer who could do 6 turns in a row. undaunted, and still land gracefully. like wow? and she really is like a swan.. her limbs extend out so long and graceful it looked like the swan's neck in one minute and the swan fluttering its wings and fluffing its feathers in another. i guess that was the point. but as much as i sound like i thoroughly enjoyed the ballet, i had to admit i almost nodded off twice. maybe becos i was tired, maybe ballets just arent the thing for me. i need drama. action. ballets are too pretty, 2 dimensional and uninvolving. and the music too soothing. so yes. i think i shall look out for more productions in future. i dun mind trying out chinese productions. maybe it won't be half as bad as i think.

testing 1-2-3 yay i got my connection at HOME finally...

PICTURES!!! i fried rice, made a more fanciful omelette, complete with ham, cheese & onion, and half-cooked brussel sprouts which looked lovely nevertheless. just inedible. Fried rice with side dish of yesterday's gyoza and a can of heineken. tres nutritious! THE fanciful omelette. the inedible brussel sprouts. in other news, i went for a S$10 foot massage the other night. apparently you can get quite addicted to massages, if you know what i mean. SHIOK! and then we did a marketing stint on board a ship that was *thank gawd* adequately heated. and then i watched more prison break (what's new). oh dear, season one is running out. i HAVE to get season 2, 3, 4. next weekend we're scheduled to go swimming!!!! i cant wait. i didn't bring my bikinis tho. never thought i'd get to use it. my fingers are laughing, because they're cracking up. -its too cold- and it takes too friggin long to upload one file! what's wrong with this office's interfuckingnet connection!!!! like halp lah! *mutter*
